A tragicomic performance about turning 30, existential questions and the search for self-love

Katie Koss is turning 30 – and she hates it. Suddenly she is worried about air fryers, Brabantia products, a pension that amounts to nothing and the house she can’t seem to buy. But what are those worries worth compared to the story of her parents, who fled Soviet Ukraine in their thirties and had to struggle to build a new life from scratch in the Netherlands?

To understand her inner crisis, Katie delves into the past: her childhood as a top athlete, her eternal drive to perform and her parents’ courage. Between then and now, she is searching for one thing: unconditional self-acceptance. Soul pop artist Katie Koss (29) takes you on a journey through her painfully recognisable thirties dilemma, full of self-mockery, jazzy pop songs and merciless honesty. A raw, disarming performance about the urge for validation, the fear of stagnation and the need for self-love. For anyone who wants to be able to say to themselves: I am my one and only.
