Jonge Harten 2025 kicks off with STAGE in the Grand Theatre. A dance triptych in which short performances by Misiconi, Bab Ad-Daar and young dancers from the H.N. Werkman Stadslyceum merge into a whole. Be moved by this special encounter between young people on stage, where vulnerability and strength alternate and where every voice counts.

STAGE JONGE HARTEN

STAGE focuses on the work of young, non-professional actors and dancers. You can see them at work on various stages, but we only show performances that were created in a professional context.

The familiar faces of De Noorderlingen and Meeuw will perform their show at the Kunstwerf. At Grand Theatre, you can enjoy a triple bill dance, three shorter performances in a row, each with its own colour and style. At SPOT Stadsschouwburg, the day ends with the performance An Ovation Of Hope, created by Gregory Caers, Ryan van der Elst and MBO Artist Noorderpoort. And an opening speech.

We focus in particular on students who we feel (after conversations and performances) connect themselves as creators with the world beyond. In a conscious, critical and idiosyncratic way.
