An evening about consent, intimacy, and your body

We all have a body. We live in it, we live with it. And yet… we are often only half there. We don’t always listen to it, we are not fully present in it. But if it is already difficult to be truly in touch with your own body, how do you actually do that with someone else?

On this inspirational evening, Firma Frictie invites writer and theater maker Krista Arriens (known from De Sekszusjes) as an inspirer and conversation starter. She talks about the book she is working on, a personal search for answers to the many questions she has been asking herself (and others) for years about consent. Her story forms the starting point of the evening: an invitation to conversation and encounter.

At the same time, Stella and Lusanne from Firma Frictie will open up the creative process of their new youth performance, which revolves around intimacy: Intimacy with yourself. With another person. And with your own boundaries.

“Because Stella and Lusanne’s boundaries are missing. We are searching for them.” We invite you to listen, share, or simply be present. We will see how the experiences, stories, and insights from this evening, perhaps including yours, can find a place in the further creative process.
