FIELD MORNING
FIELD is the place where new theatre makers set the pace. It is a festival full of experimentation, encounters and movement. You will see work in all its different phases: from early research and open rehearsals to fully developed performances.
The morning programme is different on Friday and Saturday.
SATURDAY NOVEMBER 22nd
DEEP LISTEN SESSION
Start your FIELD day with a joint deep listen session! Ryan van Elshout opens with a written text about the mindset of Jonge Harten “speak up and listen”. Then it’s your turn. Bring that text from your notebook or a poem you’ve read somewhere that others really NEED to hear. Especially now. Take the space and share, we’re listening.
We will end the deep listening session with a short voice jam led by Zola Westerhof. Here you will experience how powerful the voice of a group can be. And why it is important that we use this power more often. Experience the festival motto Speak Up & Listen in practice: make yourself heard, listen deeply and meet other new theatre workers in an open and playful setting.
ENT SPEED TEACHING
Not speed dating, but speed teaching! In a short but powerful crash course, ENT invites inspiring new theatre professionals who question structures in the field and try out different ways to make the field more enjoyable and inclusive.
Speed Teaching brings new theatre makers and the field together. In short, energetic sessions, new theatre professionals share their ideas about how things can and must change in our sector. We all know that things can be done differently. But how? Who is already experimenting with new ways of working?
