The ARENA about finding stability in difficult times. Sometimes it seems as if only bad things happen in the world. How do you stay positive when the news is mostly negative? How do you keep hope alive?

Some things can only be understood if you feel them and share them with others. Not from the sidelines, but by joining in the lion’s den. That’s exactly what the ARENA is for: to step inside and voice your perspective or listen to the perspectives of others.

Come and join us! Speak up, contribute your thoughts or listen attentively! Stepping into THE ARENA takes courage, because we can’t be sure of anything, but we can all explore and investigate.

The ARENA – Hold on is inspired by the performance “Ovation For Hope” by Gregory Caers & the Excellent class of MBO Noorderpoort Actor.

FIELD was created to strengthen the bond with young talent and to give both the artists and the festival the opportunity to support people in the longer term and to make their “dreams” come true. We focus in particular on students who we feel (after conversations and performances) connect themselves as creators with the world beyond. In a conscious, critical and idiosyncratic way.

De programmeurs van het festival geven je dan persoonlijk het verlossende antwoord!
