The ARENA on extremism. What is extremism? How can you recognise when someone is becoming radicalised? And how can we remain open to each other at a time when it seems that everyone is retreating deeper into their own bubble?

Some things can only be understood when you feel them and share them with others. Not from the sidelines, but by joining in the lion’s den. That is exactly what the ARENA is for: to step inside and voice your perspective or listen to the perspectives of others.

Come and join us! Speak up, contribute your ideas or listen attentively! Stepping into the ARENA takes courage, because we can’t be sure of anything, but we can all explore and investigate.

FIELD was created to strengthen the bond with young talent and to give both the artists and the festival the opportunity to support people in the longer term and to make their “dreams” come true. We focus in particular on students who we feel (after conversations and performances) connect themselves as creators with the world beyond. In a conscious, critical and idiosyncratic way.

Vermeld de titel van de voorstelling en waar je graag meer duidelijkheid over wilt hebben (is dit iets om met mijn vriend/vriendin naartoe te gaan? het is misschien wel grappig maar toch niet vulgair? dat soort vragen). De programmeurs van het festival geven je dan persoonlijk het verlossende antwoord!
