Igor disarms

The theme of Jonge Harten 2022 is disarmament. Arming ourselves, we all do it from time to time.

But why and when? And do we realize it ourselves? For Jonge Harten, Sebastiaan portrayed young people who are each disarming in their own way, and then asked them the question, “𝗪𝗵𝗮𝘁 𝘄𝗲𝗮𝗽𝗼𝗻𝘀 𝗱𝗼 𝘆𝗼𝘂 𝗱𝗲𝗽𝗹𝗼𝘆?”

𝗜𝗴𝗼𝗿: ”If something doesn’t suit me, I sometimes ignore it. I prefer to camouflage myself. I pretend that everything is fine. But not always: if I have the energy for it I make myself heard, I counter it. It depends a bit on the situation. Too much frustration and anger is not good for anyone, then I prefer to keep a low profile.”
