The festival heart of Jonge Harten is the place for meeting and conversation.

Step into The ARENA with us to think aloud with each other about questions we can’t figure out on our own. Some things you can only understand if you feel them through and share them with each other. Not on the sidelines, but in the lion’s den. That is exactly what the ARENA is for, to be able to step in and take on trouble together.

The format is the same but the content is different three times: Under pressure/ Cringe/ Why should I care.

Come participate! Feel what happens when you take on a theme. Stepping into the ARENA is brave, because we don’t know for sure, but searching and investigating we all do. With blood, sweat and tears, courage and humor we will engage theatrically, after which we will celebrate victory together!

Theatremaker Zahra Lfil will lead the ARENA combined with theatrical performances by creators and youth from the programming of Jonge Harten 2023.

FIELD was created to strengthen the bond with young talent and to give both the artists and the festival the opportunity to support people in the longer term and to make their “dreams” come true. We focus in particular on students who we feel (after conversations and performances) connect themselves as creators with the world beyond. In a conscious, critical and idiosyncratic way.

A program line in which we put creative young people on stage and in which you can participate in great masterclasses yourself. We ensure that you are pampered all day long and of course we close the day with a great party, by none other than Clash!

Kom je er toch nog niet helemaal uit? Geen nood: stuur een mailtje naar info@jongeharten.nl en vraag om nadere toelichting. Vermeld de titel van de voorstelling en waar je graag meer duidelijkheid over wilt hebben (is dit iets om met mijn vriend/vriendin naartoe te gaan? het is misschien wel grappig maar toch niet vulgair? dat soort vragen). De programmeurs van het festival geven je dan persoonlijk het verlossende antwoord!
