ZOZY -Tunnel Vision x Ultrazoom

ZOZY takes you into her perspective on the sublime and how she has managed to give it a place in the place of her fear of the unknown.

For years, she has sometimes been overcome by a feeling she could not give a name to. Looking at the moon and the universe or listening to magisterial, imposing music. The feeling is best described by ZOZY as a repulsive beauty and a frightening but revelatory reality. “I feel extremely small then, like a tiny algae in a sea that stretches infinitely far and has no bottom,” he says. “That, of course, is essentially the case…”

In Tunnel Vision x Ultrazoom, singer and songwriter ZOZY tells her story of dealing with our existence, the infinity of what we find ourselves in, inescapable death and ceaseless life.

Programming in the Festival Heart

We have a new Festival Heart this year, and in the middle of the vibrant heart of cultural Groningen; De Kunstwerf. The place to gather before going to a performance, chill out, talk after, get into The ARENA. During the day a place for meeting, eating, and crew activities and in the evening a place for artists to show their productions on this new stage.

Makers using different disciplines such as spoken word artists, deejays, rappers and visual artists. Where you as an audience do not have to sit but the artists do want your attention. For this programming we collaborate with Noordstaat. Noordstaat is the place in the North where upcoming and starting (hip-hop) artists accelerate and grow in their talent.
